Every once in a blue moon comes an artist with destiny written in the foundation of their personality from the beginning of the journey. Those people always seem to be able to accomplish great things, while remaining modest about the goals already achieved and humble about the possibilities of future thresholds to conquer. Ashley Hayes is one of those special people. Born in a small hamlet nestled along the fringes of the Great Atchafalaya Basin, Henderson, Louisiana didn’t seem a likely place to produce a singer/songwriter such as Ashley. But fate had different plans, and the budding young artist had the level of focus and determination to make big things happen.

We can probably all remember times during our youth when we played Rock Star in our bedrooms. Such was the beginning of Ashley’s musical journey, but it would not be the typical childhood short course of pretend for Ash, but instead the real deal had begun in the spirit of a serious artist.

The rest, as the story goes, is history...

At the age of 19, Ashley has already been part of three professional recording projects and has toured extensively around the world from Los Angeles, California to places like Montreal, Canada and Paris, France just to name a few of the major festival locations she has experienced in preparation for her most ambitious project yet: Nice Little Window, her first solo project, which will serve as her spring board to the next plateau in her artistic career.

Today, Ashley has realized the accomplishment of her first solo record and is poised to take the bold steps necessary to be able to share her personal thoughts and musical style with a growing fan base around the world.

Listening to Nice Little Window one would tend to think that it is a forty year-old writing the story lines of these songs rather than a young artist such as Ashley. These songs touch on many common, but deep thoughts regarding life’s challenges and issues ranging from personal relationships to long range decisions about what direction to go with our lives. Ultimately, this project offers something for most all of us struggling with the same ghosts in our lives as well as the carousels that most of us can’t seem to jump off.

This is sure to be an eye opener for longtime Ashley Hayes fans and a surprise to those discovering Ash for the first time.
